Cathy Fawcett is a founder and co-managing partner of Fawcett Cutler, bringing decades of experience in civil and commercial litigation and administrative law. Her practice is primarily focused on health law, where she often represents regulated professionals in complex litigation, mediation, regulatory negotiations, and disciplinary proceedings. Cathy is also frequently engaged by regulators and administrative tribunals to review and enhance the fairness, compliance, and effectiveness of their processes.

A leader within the legal profession, Cathy recently completed over a decade of service on the Council of the Law Society of New Brunswick, including a term as President (2023–2024). She continues to contribute to the Society in several roles, and is also currently serving as a Council member of the New Brunswick Branch of the Canadian Bar Association and the New Brunswick Council member on the Federation of Law Societies of Canada.
